Divine gaze

 

I smiled when my ego was soothed

And I cried when it was hurt 

I am a shallow being 

Ain't I?

Alas what could I do about it ? 

Yet once I saw thy lotus eyes 

O' ocean of compassion,

The dirt of my soul were washed away 

By the tears of devotion 

For a moment my vision seemed a blur 

As the glass of illusion scattered away 

And I could not move, enchanted by thy divine gaze
